At 2 o'* clock Saturday afternoon, shortly after Mr. Ebbinger had left for his . work in the B. O. yards and while ' his wife was washing dishes, Mr. . Davis went to their home and from a rear porch shot Mrs. Ebbinger.es-, The murderer then walked to theat les the ec-niHuron river, and wading , out into three feet of water, shot himself through the heart. His death was almost instantaneous. Acquaintances of the victims say that some time ago Mrs. Ebbinger threatened to go to court to force Davis to take back insulting remarks which he is said to have made against her., Besides her husband, Mrs. Ebbinger leaves two children.
