JUNEAU, Sept. 24 (Special to Daily Times).—A verdict of murder in the first degree, without capital punish the verdict brought in by the in the district court today in the case of John Gaslow, charged with the murder of Myra Schmidt, a woman ¢’of the underworld, in this city last December. Gaslow is a pioneer of the North, having lived at Dawson, Fairbank, Iditarod and other places in the in terior. The evidence in the case was all circumstantial, and the case was bit terly contested and attracted wide at tention ment. Vv
