two 'boysInjuredBY HIT-RUNNERStruck by a hit-run driver as they were riding their bicycles along Hook road, near Eighty-fourth street, Delaware county, last evening, two Philadelphia boys are in a serious condition in the Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital. They are Paul Sminkey, 14, of 7011 Passyimk avenue, and William Billing, also 14, of 2623 South Seventy-first street.Sminkey and Ehling were on their way to visit relatives in Sharon Hill when they were injured. Romeo Grundy, 55, driver of the car, police say, realized the seriousness of leaving the scene, and returned with his ’passenger, Felton Owens, 50, also Negro. They pickocl up the unconscious forms and took them to Grundy's home in Sharon Hill.Mrs. Grundy ordered her husband to take them to the hospital. Both men. after taking the injured pair to the hospital, disappeared according to the police, who are searching for them. The Philadcl-: phi a youths did not regain consciousness until 4 o'clock this morning'.j
