They are Laura D. Medefesser arid Iioliey F. Kelley, both of Lon# Creek school in Augusta township. They were pupils of Mr. Harry K. Jlt;jues. who had charge of the school for several terms, and who proved very successful as a teacher, fie seems to have taken especial Interest hi penmanshipand the superintendent finds that the penmanship in that school is really noteworthy and would attract atten tion almost anywhere. Mr. Jaques has not remained in Ties Moines county.
