Kunz tesji-fled that he observed Gvove driving his cor with nn Improper muffler.Grove sold he had lost his muffler on his way lu Dclphos and that he wn* trying to drive slowly enough to prevent making ox-cesslve nol9e. He added that be has had the muffler repaired.Mayor Wulfhorst fined Grove $30 and costs and suspended $20 of the fine provided Grove bn* no further violations and produces the bill proving the muffler has been repaired.Robert Dray and ChnHotte Dray, both of 108 South Cloy street, were both charged by Patrolmen Corl Grown and UottaUl Kunz with disturbing the pence.The officers testified that the couple came Into the police station nt 12:13 A.m. Monday -oh-vlously under the Influence of slcohol and quarreling.
