Clerk Indicted for i Attack at Presidio !A 30-year-old Pacifica clerk has been indicted by the Federal Grand Jury in San Francisco on three counts ol' assault in connection with a daw hammer and knife attack on a woman in July.David J. Carpenter of Mina Lane was indicted on one count of assaulting Lois L DcAndrade, 32. with intent to murder and two counts of assault on Pfc. Jewell Hicks, a military policeman who came to Miss DeAndrade’s aid.Carpenter had picked upMiss DcAndrade on July 12 to take her tu work.
