New Charge In Stabbing Incident FiledWINBURNE - Elmer Russell Spotts of Trolley Street, Winburne, remains in the Clearfield County Prisoh this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail after a charge of criminal attempt at homicide was filed by Morris-Cooper Township Police Chief Mike Polachek following a stabbing incident Friday in the Spotts residence in Winburne.Police said Mr. Spotts was arraigned yesterday before District Magistrate Michael Rudella, who set bail on the charge at $40,000.He has been in the jail since Friday on other charges related to the in-cident after he was unable to post $10,000 bond set during that arraignment by Magistrate Rudella.He is alleged to have stabbed his son-in-law, Kenneth L. Dillon, in the left side of the head with a 12-inch butcher knife during a domestic disturbance. Mr. Dillon was treated at Philipsburg State General Hospital but not admitted.Police said Mr. Spotts was arrested following the incident on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering the life of. another and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.Chief Polachek was assisted in his investigation by Clearfield County Assistant District Attorney F, Cortez Bell III.
