Hadley, and of unauthorized use of the stolen car, in which he reportedly ran a State Police roadblock early on Aug. 6 and made his way to Witherbee.He was charged with four counts of kidnapping, in the alleged abduction of Dom-blewski, Fiorillo, Freeman and Miss Malinowski.He was also charged with four counts of reckless en-dangerment, second degree, for allegedly pointing a .30-.30 calibre rifle at the four persons at their campsite in Wells on July 29.He was charged with four counts of attempted robbery, first degree, for allegedly trying to steal bicycles from girls at Speculator on Saturday, July 28.Garrow was also charged with kidnapping, second degree, for allegedly forcing Freeman to drive a car at gunpoint on July 29.In somewhat of a surprise move, he was also charged with criminal impersonation, for allegedly pretending to be a police officer, and one count of attempted kidnapping, for allegedly trying to drag a girl out of a religious camp in S|eculator on Saturday, July 28, the day before Domblewski was killed.Beige objected to Garrow being in handcuffs, and asked that Judge Marthen direct that in future court appearances, Garrow not be in shackles.“I will rule on that in future court appearances,” the judge replied.“The defendant pleads not guilty to all counts of each indictment,” Beige told the Court.Judge Marthen then adjourned the case until Oct. 2*3.Beige sought bail for Garrow, but Judge Marthen ordered the defendant held in custody by Sheriff Parker without bail, over Beige’s objections.Intemann said he would first move on the murder indictment, after motions have been filed.The 13-minute hearing was over at 3:03 p.m. and Garrow was carried and wheeled back to jail.Following the arraignment, Beige told The Post-Star and Times that he thought the people of Hamilton County were fair. “They have shown themselves to be quite fair so far,” he said, and he did not plan to ask for a change of venue.Earlier he had told newsmen in Syracuse he was going to seek a change in site for any trial.
