AssaultCase Coes to Jury AtWautomaWautoma, Wis.—(Special)—TheI case of In in Hebner, town of Bloom-field , being tried on an assaultcharge, waa expected to go to ajury in Judge Byron R. Park’# circuit court here late Thursday. Hebner is accused of having assaulted Paul Schoenick, Tustin, employe at a Tustin dance hall, the night of June23Bernard Martin, charged withviolating fish laws, was freed by a jury Tuesday. The case against J. T. j Monaghan, charged with larceny as bailee in connection with the pur-! j chase and sale of a hovae, was dismissed by Judge Park. Two cases j involving moral charges against Marvin Krause were continued until the next term of court.William Reek's suit against Waushara county, involving damages for property taken by the county during construction of highway 4t», was dismissed by stipulation without costs. A similar suit brought by M. C. Fisher was settled out of court.I Fisher had originally been awarded ! $800 by the county highway committee, The county court increased this by $150, On Fisher’s appeal to circuit court, the county awarded j Fisher an additional $150,Ruby Carpenter, wife of Walter I Carpenter, a prisoner at Waupun, j was granted a divorce front her husband.
