It was the intention to j men the contractors of Shelhyvllle at the Hotel Ray and submit the plans nnd specifications to them early Saturday morning but as the architects j did not have work done the two mea were necessarily delayed. Mr. Slaymaker arrived about eleven thirty jwhile Mr. Clark arrived about three j thirty. The latter gentleman brought jIthe plans and specifications with himand a meeting of the automobile men with the various contractors was held at the Hotel Ray about four-thirty Saturday afternoon. The plana were left with the local contractors hut the contract for the erection of the- three j buildings will not be awarded until j new week.Articles ol Incorporation for the Clark Motor Car company were filed with the secretary of stale Saturday afternoon. The names of the incorpor ators are as follows: Q. B. Slaymaker, J- D- Ctyrk, Arthur Woodard. J. W. LovetL J. H- Akers and A. J. Thurston. Mr. Akers was elected president ond Mr. Thurston treasurer in theorganisation of the Incorporators. The capital stock is 9150,000.To a representative of this paper Mr. Slaymaker said, Mr. Clark and I expect to leave for the East Sunday night weher we expect to close up several contracts that have been pemt ing for Home time. We expect to rush this woik as fast as possible and we will award the contract for the erection of the buildings next week.
