Reynolds of the fair association also insisted on her using it. but she thought her wrist was strong enough, and professional pride was also a factor in prompting her to refuse it. Just before the balloon was released. Mr. Rogers again urged her to use the belt, and started to get it,but she said; “Never mind; it will be alt right. and was oft on the fatal trip. The balloon rose to a height of fully 2.000 feet before Miss Myers cut loose for the first drop. Everything went well, and the parachute opened perfectly.
