Powers* law*tyer from Houston, said the state had information that the Mossier*.s life had been threatened j by several persons.State Atty. Richard Gcrstein denied it.Judge George Schulz heardother defense motions, including lone asking for inspection of the prosecution's evidence.Gerstein said defense counsel ■would bo given “what the law allows—no more, no less.”Mossier was stabbed andj beaten to death here June 30,; 1064 Police arrested Powers in I Houston a few days later.He and Mrs. Mossier wereindicted earlier this year on first degree murder charges.
