Thursday Cuppy vras surrounded in a field near Lo-gansport by several armed men, but escaped and made his way to that pity. He was located there yesterday, and Sheriff King asked the Gass county sheriff to arrest- him. iHe;; said be would do so, but Cuppy’b arrest had not been announced at a Jate hour last night.—Lafayette Journal.Detective Morgan made the rounds ot the city Saturday, but failed to locate Cuppy, who is wanted to answer the charge of grand larceny.J**/ a « — ■■■■■• t 9
