It was a meeting filled with genuine enthusiasm from the very opening to the close, and cue that surely evinced a spirit and a determination to make the Decatur County Corn Show for centennial week a great success.Chairman Joe Strasburger presided and the business was disposed of with neatness and dispatch. It reads: “Decatur county celebrates Indiana’s Centennial October 1S-22. 19l(5,Greensburg.” This poster is a master piece—it is a magnificent work of art, shows in resplendent and many different colored hues the artist’s dairty and most difficult touch,and to be fully appreciated must surely be seen.The illustration of the poster, in brief, depicts the passing of the Indian; the coming of the white man and the building of our city. The poster is not only “a thing of beauty,” but is one of the moat handsome and attractive advertisements ever placed before the public.
