MProsecutor Patrick Casey,;' who was to assist Beckley Pros-k ecutor Thomas Canterbury ini the trial, said Canterbury re-jF ported to him that Quicksey suffered a heart attack Sept. 1 and that his doctor has advised that Quicksey could not stand the tension of a trial at this time.Casey said the trial could be delayed as long as six months.The trial was moved to Kanawha County last November and was originally scheduled in Intermediate Court March 29, but was postponed because of the illness of defense attorney Anthony J. Sparacino. It was reset Sept. 9 and again for Sept. 16.At the time of the shooting, Quicksey, about 57, was operator of the Trailways Hotel on South Fayette Street in Beckley, where he and Dowell reportedly had a quarrel over a poker game.
