CONTEMPT CHARGE AGAINST SHEPHERDInformation charging Henry Shepherd of Ottumwa with contempt of court has been filed in district court by County Attorney E. K. Bekman. Shepherd has been released on $500 bond.The information is based on a permanent liquor injunction, granted in favor of the state against Shepherd on February 27, 1931. Bekman claims that Shepherd has violated the injunction which forbade manufacturing, selling or otherwise dispensing intoxicating liquor.
