A most unearthly howl from about the eourt house startled the people around the square last evening. We supposed a horse had stepped on a dog’s foot on the aouthside and hence the prolonged yell. People ran in all directions. It turned out to have been a light between Win. H. Sexton and* j.folm M, Ross. It was Ttosa who bowled. He was not hurt. Sexton was lined to the extent of $S,0() including costs. Jioss ougnt to have beenlined lor alarming the community.
