inthree alleged gambling houses and one alleged house of prostitution Friday night and early SaturdayThe raids were conducted at the Green Mill Restaurant in Gray-slake, Ang’s Harbor Inn in Ingleside, the Venus Club in unincorporated Lake County and the home of Robert F, Dugan, 57, of Waukegan, policesaid.Investigators said John Miholic, Lake County chief bailiff in the county's sheriff department was arrested and charged with gambling. Miholic was freed on $1,000 bondMiholic was arrested in his home and offered “no resistance,” Fahner said. “This bailiff was the key guy About six months ago we started placing bets with Miholic while he was on duty.”Fahner said gambling bet transactions and the raids were videotaped He said the tapes will be presented to the grand jury. He said there was also evidence of prostitution and possession of marijuana on the tapesLaw enforcement officials seized $15,000. gambling records, a blacklblingsweepjack table, horse betting and book-making records and other gambling equipment.Patrons of the alleged gambling houses were not arrested, but subpoenas were issued to testify before a grand juryOthers charged with gambling were Collette L. Anagnostra of Vernon Hills and Trina M Brie of WaukeganSharon I Skelton of Waukegan was charged with syndicated gambling and possession of marijuana, Edgar F Hermann, of Grayslake. with keeping a place of gambling, Cecil E Severninis of Prospect Heights, with keeping a house of prostitution and Brevin J Klinger of Arlington Heights and Pamela J Simpson of Wauconda with prostitution
