Mrs. Mary B. Baker* SI, 330 W. Vine St.* Oxford, died Tuesday at 5:30 p. m. in Oxford View Nursing Home.She was born in Mansfield, Ohio, a daughter of Charles B. and Wfrtffred Warner Busbnell.. She was graduated from the Conservatory of Music of Oberlln College, Oberlin.Following graduation, she was muBic critic teacher at Miami University for three years.She was married to David Bussell Baker, The couple resided in Anderson, Ind. and later moved to Hamilton where* Mr. Baker was associated with the Hamilton School System for21 years. And at one time served as superintendent.The couple had resided In Oxford for the last two years.Mrs, Baker was a member of the Woman’s Club of ] {a mi Hon, the board of directors of the Hamilton YWCA, the Unhed Presbyterian Church of Oxford, and the Rambler’s Literary Club of Middle I own.For 21 years, she served as soloist at Ihe Front SI. Presbyterian Church, Hamilton.She leaves her husband, Dasid Russel! Baker, a son, John B. Baker, superintendent of schools, Vermillion, Ohio; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.Services will be Friday at 2 p. m, in Ihe MarshaH-Smilli Funeral Home, Oxford. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
