INQUtlTJudicial Inquiry Into th« Oeath #f An*drew Jimiion, Sept. 22.At 10 o'clock, this morning, Judge Hayden sat in inquest on the death of Andrew Jameson, who was killed by -a fall from his piazza rail at 22 Poplar street, on the evening of Sepu 2.Dr. R H. Thompson, medical examiner, testified to examining the body of Jameson at 12 p. m. Bept. 2.From what Information Dr. Thompson received, the Injuries were received at 6.20 and death came In 20 minutes. Jameson complained that h!» arms were numb and that he could not stand on his feet. The injuries were not testified to in detail, the facts of the autopsy being contained in a report of the autopsy. Dr. Thompson said death came from a broken neck and Injuries to the spinal cord. He died without much, conscious suffering, for the blow on his head was sufficient to stun him somewhat.Dr. Thompson totd this story of the affair as he heard It from witnesses.John Tracy, the man held for .man-slaughter In the case, was on the piazza of the bouse, 22 Poplar street, and became engaged In a controversy with X E, Page, for whom Tracy had been working at the driving park. A scuffle followed and both men fell hack over the piazza rail.During the few minutes of conscious* ness, Jameson said nothing about the scuffle or whatled up to tt. ' .Dr. Norton' testified io being called to the hqpae at 8.15 p. . nw and found Jameson sitting, id a chair with his eye* half open, and he pronounced him dead.
