ISCriminal Cases Come Up Before District CourtTwo criminal cases received attention in District Court Tuesday afternoon during motion setting day.Rudolf Augustine Jr. of Hays pleaded guilty to two counts of forgery and was sentenced to one to ten years in prison on both counts. The terms are to run concurrently.Th%‘ jail terms were suspended and he was placed on probation for five years. Four other forgery counts were dismissed.Augustine was convicted of forging two checks on his former employer's, account. He was employed by the United Roofing Co. of Hays owned by J. R. Gunzel-man.Thomas A. Wilson, charged with stealing a television set from a local motel June, 25, pleaded innocent and is scheduled for jury trial in the October term of the District Court.The court appointed Donald Staab as Wilson's attorney after Steven Flood requested to be withdrawn from the case,Wilson remains in the county jail in lieu of $2,000 bond.I A JI fl
