M Ralsten, who said their were more pellets in Virgil's arm than in Scott’s and that Virgil's wounds were deeper, indicating Virgil was closer to Williams’ gun.“That shows, Scherer continued, “Virgil Williams must havebeen standing partly in front of Ace Scott, trying to keep his father, Bill Williams, from shooting Ace Scott.”Plaintiff's Attorney Kyle Harper objected to Scherer’s remarks and Scherer turned to Harper and declared:The presumption of the law is if a witness who saw it isn’t produced it is because the testimony would be against you.”It was the last jury trial of the term, the jurors not in the case having been excused Friday. However, court has not been adjourned as there aie several motions toi be argued.
