Circuit CourtMarion CountyA criminal complaint has been signed by Rachel A. Bryant against Charles Sloat. The complaint alleges that Sloat committed an act of battery on Sepember 6 at 1624 S. Hickory St. by striking Rachel Bryant in the right side with a chair. Alva Piercy has also signed a complaint charging that Sloat struck him in the mouth and face with his fist.A charge of deceptive practice has been filed against GeorgeRoberts, also known as George Brooks, also known as George Stafford Brooks. The charge alleges that between March 15 and 17 he had in his possession a credit card issued to Richard W.Yandell.
