buspectSoughi In Coffee CaseFRANKFURT, Sept. 9 (SS] Frankfurt police said yesterday they have not been able to serve an arrest warrant on Erich Pracht, local forwarding agent and trucker, one of 13 defendants facing trial in Ravensburg for allegedly smuggling millions of marks worth of contraband coffee and cigarets into Germany from Switzerland.Pracht’s arrest was sought by Ravensburg prosecutor Dr. Walter Friedel following reports Pracht may have fled to France. Frankfurt police said they found Pracht’g house closed. He was arrested once this spring, and was later released on 100,000-mark bail.Pracht, 10 German customs officials of the Lindau area, a Lindau forwarding agent, and an Austrian are under Indictment at Ravensburg as members of a smuggling ring that cheated the West German government out of millions of marks in taxes by furnishing the blaek market with contraband coffee and cigarets.
