After a deliberation of a half hour a verdict was reached, finding the defendant guilty of manslaughter.Evidence In the case conflicted In many places. The evidence also indicated that Jesse litteral made two contradictory statements as to who stabbed him. In one statement he intimated that Jack Loftus had wounded him, while In another he declared his brother inflicted the fata! injury.
