GALVIN GETSSIX MOUTHSMan* Who Entered the KetteringBarn and Stole Sheep Says He HadBeen Drinking.John Calvin of Sharon, just as much as pleaded fitiUiy Tuesday at a, hearing before Squire Gilbert on a charge of stealing a sheep from ^ barn owned by Peter Kettering and was sentenced to six months in the workhouse,Kettering recited to Squire Gilbert how* he trailed Calvin with a bloodhound owned by Chief Penman of Greenville, from where the sheep was stolen to a sawmill between Sharon and Mercer, where he found half of the sheep buried in a sawdust pile, which is near Calvm’B home.Calvin in reply to Kettering'.'* charge said he had been drinking and didn’t knowr much about what be had done.It developed in the meantimo that a man whose name is unknown had gotten half of the mutton and Uai vin's plea that he had been drinking didn’t have much w’eight with Squire Gilbert, so he sentenced him to a half year in the workhouse, stating in the same breath that was not half«viinnenough. *
