Richard Large, 26 years old of Dresser, was arrested on a Circuit court warrant charging him with assault and battery with intent to murder. He is alleged to haveattacked and seriously injured his wife early Saturday morning. He was lodged in jailwhen he wtas unable to furnish bond of $5,000.Theodore Walwik, former police officer, was fined $10 and costs and sentenced to serve a term of six months on the State Penal Farm, the minimum penalty, on his plea of guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor when he was brought before Judge Gerdink of. Vigo Circuit court. Clarence Kelsheimer, arrested with the fourteen year old girl Walwik was accused of keeping company with, is to be arraigned on a similar charge nextweek.
