TSLATE CHURCH IS || SCENE OF CUTTINGHoi) Huflcr Cut lu Two PlAce* ll In Carrington Who — rChurch Goes On!iSaturday night while at church on , H Slate Creek Bob Butler was rut In the arm and on the hip by Lee Carrington, who made a getaway. The trouble is said to have started over ; Butler causing a disagreement between Carrington and bis sweetheart. The wounded man was brought to Dr. Bertram’s office where his Injuries were given attention, during which time ho wufl very sick. Butler has been in a number of scrapes while Carrington has never been known to have trouble with onyone before The officers left for Carrington’s home nt Clarksburg shortly after it happened but he was not there and has not been heard of since.
