Four persons charged with crimi-lual offenses, and three with viola* tlons of city and county ordinances^/appeared before Judge A. H. flcfimidt in Municipal court this % morning to plead to charges filedpy city and county officers. .John Turcyzinski, father of six vchildren, pleaded not guilty to .a f-charge that on July 29 he commit-•%ed an assault with intent to do Skreat bodily harm upon Joseph MOlysch and to a charge that he ^did' feloniously assault Joseph ftOlysch in a manner evincing a depraved mind . . . without any pre-meditated design to affect the Sdeath of said Joseph Glysch under £ such circumstances that if death Pad resulted said Turcyzinski £ would have been guilty of murder €|n the second degree/; Turcyzinski Pas been held in jail since the date ft of the alleged-attack on Glysch m tithe letter’s saloon at Twenty-sixth I and Marshall streets. The man held 31b on parole from the Northern hos-I pltal at’ Oshkosh, it is said, ,«nd vl charges were not preferred against fhim until after Glysch had recovered sufficiently from his knife ^wounds to permit his return - fromrffthe hosDital. .
