JiqUor, f when . arraigned in police court here♦ * Aoh the recommendation of Prosecutor Blmer Bassett, was fined $i00 and costs and - a sentence of 6C days to the penal farm was suspended: Following this action. Prosecutor Bassett ordered the attachment of a new automobile, owned, by Mr. Dry-bread, to be held for trial here toj i determine its ownership. A bond of $2,000 was supplied bj* Mr. Dryhread to secure possession of the automobile until hearing is held in the latter case.MMr. Dry bread was arrested while seated in his automobile, which was parked in the infield of the race track when the officers found two pint bottles partly filled with whisky, which were placed in the pockets of the machine. 'According toauthorities Mr. Dryhread refused to open :t trunk on the rear, of the au-tomobile and he also.' denied that hej , - » • •had1 sold or given a why any of the whisky which was found. They state that the occupants of an automobile, parked next to the Drybread^Car, admitted he had given them drinks of the* whisky which he^ had.Altho Mr. Dry bread had told the officers he could not unlock the trunk on his machine, as he hid left the key at Franklin, he quickly produced the key when Prosecutor Bassett informed’ him he would issue asearch warrant to open the trunk.*When the container was opened a pint bottle of bonded whisky andalso a pint bottle of white mule were found. Under the provision ofi,]% ►t(c*the state law the prosecutor order- ced the automobile seized and held for trial to determine whether . it will be turned over to the sheriff and sold at public auction.
