The trouble arose over the lease of his mother-in-law’s berry farm to one Mrs. E. G. Hara-► jguchi. According to report. Mrs.Haraguchi took a lease last spring on [\the farm and difficulties lately arose over the division of receipts from the place. Although Mrs. Haraguchi’s , lease does not expire until October, i she says the owner ordered her off. Thompson is alleged to have come to the house Tuesday morning while she was in the field and started movingi•Mrs. Haraguchi’s belongings from the : house. The little girl gave an alarm■ and it is alleged fearing an altercation. Thompson slashed the tenant: with a butcher knife.
