Hewas charged with aiding and abettingin the distribution of 112,9 grams of methamphetamine on Aug. 10,1988, and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine between 1965 and 1988.Bruno’s arrest is among several that came out of the government’s investigation into a methamphetamine trafficking ring involving former Waterloo residents Ernest North, Melinda Viers and Charles Murphy. All are serving federal prison terms.Bruno, who is classified by government officials as a career offender, isbeing held in the Linn County Jail pending sentencing Nov. 21.
