at a standstill for an hour after.MRS. ROSENTHAL KILLEDMrs. Josephine Rosenthal, 76. who until recently lived with her son, Irving R. Bacon, a local newspaper man. at lfln Bloomfield avenue, this city, was crushed to death by a runaway horse at 188th street and Park avenue. New York, yesterday.Mrs Rosenthal, who was searching for an apartment, could not: escape from the path of a street-sweeper, whose horses had been frightened by the whistle of a New York Central train, and was killed instantly. Identification was made at the Ford-ham Hospital by her son. Justice Alexander S. Rosenthal, of the Seventh District Municipal Court, New York.
