Chris Nussbaumer. “We are still trying to locate people that may have witnessed the crash.”Nussbaumer said Hill lives in the neighborhood where the accident occurred, but did not release his address.Residents of the two homes closest to the accident could provide few clues.One was at work and came home to find the road blocked off. The other said that he came out after hearing sirens and saw the injured dog and Dan Schoen.Both neighbors said drivers go too fast down Pawnee, which is the only through street without speed bumps.Motorists can use it to get from U.S. Highway 98 to State Road 87. It also leads students and staff members to the back entrance of Navarre High School.“It’s a problem down here,” said Robert Fore, who lives a block south of where the accident occurred. “Whenwe moved out here in 1993,you could close your eyes and back up.
