An Indiana state police detective assigned to the Seymour police post has been questioned in regard to information which led authorities to seek a first degree murder charge against Mrs, Beverly Jean Landers, of Indianapolis, accused of killing her former husband in a torsoflviily, whichmurder case.First portion of a Ipolice say was that of FelixEugene Robinson, 36, Mrs. Landers former husband, was found south of Columbus along U.S. 31 near Little Sandcreek on March 16 Two other portions were found April 4, and May 1 near MooresvilleState Police Detective Robert Allen, when questioned by a defense attorney on the witness stand during a hearing Wednesday at Indianapolis, said conclusion that the body was that of Robinson came when tests were made after a private detective hired by Robinson’s relatives told police he was missing.Allen said he had questioned a co-owner of a lounge where Mrs Landers was employed and that the employer told him Mrs. Landers did not work on March 15 and then she called in sick on March 16, the day the first part of the torso wasfound, and she did not work on March 17 or 18.Det. Allen also told the de fense attorney he talked with a step-uncle of Robinson with whom he had made his home The step-uncle viewed the body and told Allen he thought it was Robinson He also told the state police officer that Robinson and Mrs. Landers were to have met in an Indianapolis tavern and the last time he saw Robinson was before the planned meeting.After Robinson was reported missing, Det.
