Hoop. When the sher- ; belt; iff reached the car, he found two-pint \ uj€ bottles, each containing a small [ ^amount of liquor.At the time these - bottles were found, the Sheriff attempted to search a pocket, in the rear of the seat of ! the roadster which Drybread had driven here. The compartment was locked, and Drybread contended that he had left the key in Edinburg. After he had paid his fine and costs, he was again asked to open the com-! partment and reiterated that he had left the key at Edinburg. The Sheriff then stated that he intended to seize the automobile.Drybread wanted to give bond for the machine, and he was told that if he would open the box or compartment, he might give bond. He again said that he did not have the key, the officials said. Prosecutor Bassett then proceeded to make out a search warrant, which would have permitted the officers to o0en the compartment.
