CAP)—Two John-' son County officials are free on $100 bond each on charges they lUed against each other after a scuffle in the courthouse corridor.Clinton Jobe, county clerk, charged Leslie Hogshead, board chairman, with assault and battery. Hogshead filed a charge of disturbing the peace against Jobe.j Jobe is a Democrat and Hogshead i is a Republican. !Jobe said the 2 men argued1 August 19 over Hogshead's check from the county. Jobe said he was, holding the check until Hogshead agreed to a withholding tax deduction.A hearing scheduled Monday on the charges was postponed.
