Transcript of the paternity proceedings filed by Julia A. Dean against Thomas Ogle in Magistrate Henry Giltner’s court, at Betiue-heao, has been received by County Clerk Goodwin. The case will come up at 'the ^September term of court.William Hooker, of New Washington, known as “Slippery Bill,”I visited Jeffersonville yesterday and exhibited the marks of a desperate battle. His left arm was broken in two places, his head was battered and bruised and he was altogether a sorry looking object. Hooker ex- j plained to Deputy Sheriff John S. Penset that he and Thomas Colvin engaged in a fight. Hooker wanted Colvin arrested.
