Convicts by Numbers.f Jeff'. News, Commercial.}When a convict comes to the prison and there is another of the same name, he is numbered two, three, four, as the case may be. For instance, the Smith and Jones family are numerous. There are Smiths from one to eleven, and Joneses to the number of sixteen, Bent. Jones, the Orange county convict holding the latter number.
