j -Probable Winder.On Saturday afternoon, during the Odd Fellows’ celebration at Glendale, a young man9 V Wnamed John M. Mills was assaulted with a mace by an Irishman named Thos. Maloy. It appears that Mills had on a Know-Nothing hat, and was asked by Maloy why he wore sueh a hat. Hard words passed, nnd Mills was struck as above and felled to the ground. Ma-; loy was seized by the crowd and taken beforea$500to answer the charge of assault with intent to commit murder, lndefauit he was committed to jail. Mills is in a dangerous condition.Ciji. Gaz.
