Neighbors of John Brandi Pick 65 Acres of CornNeighbors of John BrsndQ,who operates a farm belonging to his father t^’red Brandi north-we.st of Maple Biver, turned up early Friday morning to help with his cornpicking. Fourteen men and seven pickers were expected during the day. Sixty-five acres of corn were to be picked,Mr. Brandi returned home recently after three weeks in the Veterans Hospital at Omaha. His wife is an invalid and the two Brandi boys are being cared for at the St. Anthony Home in Sioux City. Neighbors said they will stay on the job until all 65 acres are picked. Gasoline for tractors was furnished by Ben Pille of Maple River.
