Killion camejThout of the duel unscathed but the by fate of his opponent is not known, forAbout 2:30 in the morning Killion was walking his beat and coming to the corner of Market and Thomasstreets he observed somebody standing near the corner of North Thomas and Cherry close to the wholesale house. He walked in that directionto investigate but before arriving at where the man stood he heard theglass in the building crash.Further investigation was unnecessary for him to conclude that a burglary was in progress.
