AN OLD FEUDCAUSED A MURDER IN FRANKLIN jSUNDAY NIGHT.In Franklin Sunday night William*Peyton shot and killed Sherman Cannon, his son-in-law. The shooting took place in the yard of Peyton. It is charged that Cannon was drunk and went to Peyton’s home where hewas very abusive. The men are Ken- '♦tucky mountaineers. When they came ito Franklin they brought an old fued with them, this being the real cause of this murder. Peyton is in the Franlin jail. *
