The two murder cases are the most importaut ones on the docket. The first one is that of K. King, who is charged with shooting a Galician at St. Latare. The story toul by one of the workmen, who was working with the accused is that the Galician angerd him by spitting on his boots. It is alleged that King then fired a shot, which passed through the Galician’s head. The other murder case is that of a squaw charged with the murder of her husband. In this case arties considerable public sympathy has these j been aroused in the locality north ibout of Shoal Lake, where the murder ill be was committed.
