Bank Sign ShatteredA 17-year-old juvenile boy and an 19-year-old man. both of Manitowoc, were taken into custody at 1 a.m. Friday by Manitowoc Police and charged with allegedly damaging an outdoor sign at the Manitowoc Savings Bank at North Ninth and Commercial streets in ManitowocAccording to Robert Schmidt, captain of detectives, the two men were observed in the area by a citizen who reported the incident to police. According to police, a six-foot long plastic lawn sign was shattered at the bank.The 17-year-old was released to his parents while the 18-year-old remains in custody at the city jail. The case is being referred to the district attorney.
