Vallejo Con In Guarded ShapeHarry L Redmon. a 29-year-old SanQuentin inmate serving a life sentence for a 1957 slaying In ihe Carquinez Heights area of South Vallejo, is reported in guarded condition with two stab wounds in his lower hack.Apriorities said they have no suspect or weapon ki the attack during the dinner hour Monday.This is the second time in less than iv. o years thal Hod won has been stabbed and seriously wounded at the prison facility.The Vallejoan has been confined in San Quentin since Nov. 11. 1970. He and David Perry, then 25, were convicted for the murder of Ronald Roy who was found with three bullet wounds m the head in Carquitiez Heights Dec. 7.1957.Prosecution testimony in the case contended that Roy, also of Vallejo, had been assassinated because he was a snitcher” on narcotics activities.The appealed murder convictions were upheld bv the State Supreme Court Aug. 2. 1972.
