FILES DAMAGE SUITSUSANVILLE, Calif.. Oct. 30 — (Special)—Fred Delray this week filed suit against R. T, Bates for z $50,000 damages as a result of injuries suffered when Bates allegedly shot him in the leg on a deer hunting trip.Judge R. M, Rankin of Willows is hearing the case, in the Lassen county superior court. Delray clai'ns that Bates accidentally shot him in the leg on September 16, 1935, while on a hunting trip near Poison Lake. Delray was confined in a hospital for eleven months and is still on crutches.
