AN, OBJECT LESSONThe fate of Charlie Apitz on trial for his sanity, should be an object lesson to every young - man who likes to take a drink now and then, but“who knows enough not to let itget the best of him.” Apitz was once just that kind of a young man. He was a' competent wtirkman, an unusually good salesman and married a fine young woman. ; Little by Uttle drink mastered him until for years he has been a drunkard, occasionally bracing up for a tew months andthen falling again t each fall taking him down a little lower until the very gates of hell have yawned and have surrounded his mind with it’s imps...
