IUWUlt;Halpin, who murdered old man Mentz, at Jeffersonville, a couple of weeks ago, has been indicted for murder in the first degree by the Grand Jury of Clark county, and has taken a change of venue to Floyd county. He was taken to New Albany on Monday and placed in jail, but his trial will not come off until the next term of the Circuit Court.
