Man Accidentally Shoots HimselfIA 33-year-old Plainville man is in serious condition in the intensive eare unit of Hadley Regional Medical Center after accidentally shooting himself in the head with a high-powered rifle.According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s office, Thomas H, Houser was shot with his awn 30-30 rifle while removing it from his truck after an accident near Yocemento early Friday morning.»Recreation VoteSet At VictoriaVictoria and USD 432 voters will decide the future of a DroDOsed recreation programUndersheriff Wayne Wilson gave this account:Houser was westbound on county highway 40 when his truck crossed the centerline and struck a bridge 1.6 miles west of Yocemento.The truck was turned around on impact and traveled another 99 feet before coming to rest in the left ditch.As Houser removed his rifle from the truck, it apparently fired accidentally. The bullet entered under Houser’s chin and exited through the back of his head.A passenger in the truck was,not injured.Houser was charged. with driving while intoxicated, driving left of center and-driving on a suspended driver’s license.
